In fact, the Gibb brothers were cutting singles in Australia to some acclaim while still in their early teens. When they forsook Australia's Festival Records and traveled to England to seek worldwide fame, it seemed like a new beginning, but there were dozens of great tracks already behind them. This album collects their Festival recordings, and it's an illuminating bit of Bee Gees history.Even at a tender age, the group's trademarks were already in place: high, three-part harmony, unconventional song structures and a knack for infectious melodies and hook-laden choruses.
